We Ought To Obey God

We Ought To Obey God

We Ought To Obey God

We Ought To Obey God

When the law of the land challenges the laws of God, we should always obey God, even if it means breaking the laws of the land.

The disciples were a great example of this when they were challenged by the authorities of that time, who forbade them to preach in the name of Jesus. The disciples said, “We aught to obey God, rather than men” {Acts 5 v 29}, and we should do the same.

Our allegiance belongs to God first, though the world will try to make you confused by using God’s laws, for example, (you must not tell lies), to make you obey them. For they are very cunning and sly, just like their father the devil. But we don’t have to tell the truth to the devil or to the world, if it means endangering God’s precious, chosen people.

For example we read in the book of Joshua, that the harlot Rahab hid in her house two spies which were sent out by Joshua to spy out the land. So, when she was asked by the king’s men where they were, she did not tell them the truth.

For she hid them and said, “thus there came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were”, and she sent the kings men away in another direction, Joshua chapter 2.

If she told the truth to the authorities that she hid them in the roof of the house, then God’s people would have been killed; she was commended by the Lord for this, for God spared her life and those who remained in her house.

Jesus was not naive to the cunningness of the devil, or man, we saw this when satan tried to use the word of God to confuse Jesus. How stupid to think that Jesus did not know what he was up to, for in the wilderness the devil said to Jesus, “Cast yourself off this mountain, did not God say that He would send His angels, to catch you so that your feet should not be hurt on the stones”.

Jesus was wise and He knew the devil would try to use God’s word against Him, but He was not fooled. So let us not be fooled either, by letting the enemy use God’s word against us.

Another scripture that you will find interesting is where Jesus was questioned by His brethren the Jews; they said to Him, “You must go up to the Jewish feast of the tabernacles, for it is now due”. But Jesus knew that the Jews sought to kill Him, so He said “Go ye up to the feast, for my time is not yet full come”, {John 7 v 8}.

But when the brethren were all gone to the feast, then Jesus went up secretly also. So you see, even Jesus used His wisdom, He did not tell them what they wanted to hear, for if He did the Jews would have known where He was and would have killed Him,

this was not the time for Jesus to die. Dear Saints, let us use our wisdom when dealing with the world, always let the Holy Ghost show you how and where you must implement God’s truth for we aught to obey God, rather then men.

Jesus is the joy of living, He is the king of life to me; Unto Him my all I’m giving, His forever more to be. I will do what He commands me, anywhere He leads I’ll go; Jesus is the joy of living,                  He’s the dearest friend I know.

Come Unto Jesus

Jesus

Jesus

Matthew 11v 28 says, “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Are you weighed down with the troubles and cares of this life? Perhaps you are in debt and don’t know where to turn, or sick or in pain. Maybe you are unhappy and depressed, or feel guilty for the bad things that you have done, and you are dragging your guilt around like a ball and chain.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone who would take away all your problems, and help you through your times of need, and be with you through all the trials and tribulations of life.

Jesus is that person. If you don’t know where to turn today, you need to make Jesus Christ the Lord and Saviour of your life.

Jesus said, “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Give Jesus all your guilt, cares and problems and He will take them away from you and give you rest.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone who would sort out your life, give you peace, and go through all life’s troubles with you and bring you through victorious.

That’s what Jesus has said He will do for you, He will sort out your life and give you peace.

So. Give Him your life today, tell Him that you are sorry for all the bad things you have done, ask Him to forgive you and be the Lord of your life.       (DB).

Casting Down Imaginations

Noah Delivered

Noah Delivered

Casting Down Imaginations

It says in 2 Corinthians 10 v 5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

We know that God’s Word the Bible is full of promises for us, and the whole Bible can be trusted, no matter what the problem, God has the answer for us, if we trust Him to deliver us and bring us through to victory.

God loves us so much and it is His delight to help us, and sort out our problems no matter how bad they are.

Sometimes when we are standing on God’s Word, our minds get attacked with negative thoughts of, “Can God deliver me?” or “Will Jesus heal my body?” These are high things or imaginations, negative thoughts that tell us things contrary to God’s Word.

These imaginations must be cast down; we must bring all our thoughts in line with the Word of God. We must say, “God will deliver me, because the Bible says so.” Psalm 50 v 15 says, “Call upon me in the day of trouble and I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”  DB.

Holy Communion Prophecy 23rd October 2008

"ICXC NIKA", meaning "Jesus Christ Conquers."

This Prophecy came to me on the 23rd October 2008

The Lord said, “ My people must take the bread and the wine as a ordinance daily, for I have commanded them to take it in remembrance of me, the one and only Saviour Jesus Christ.” Where two or three are gathered there am I in the midst , to strengthen and renew, saith the Lord.”

“If you are alone then you must seek and pray for me to send someone to you, so that you can take the Holy Communion together. It is very important for you to do this with someone, this command must be fulfilled in these troublesome days, and it is my command that you take the Holy Communion every day. Not every week, or every month, or every year, but daily.”

“For by doing this every day with a brother or sister, it will bring my strength and victory into your lives, renewing and strengthening you.”

“For my sacrifice on that cross, the emblem of suffering and shame has been changed into victory and everlasting life, through my resurrection body. The Lord saith that you do not need a Pastor, or a Priest, just a brother or a sister in the Lord, this is my command saith the Lord God Almighty.”

(The most widely used Christogram is a four-letter abbreviation ICXC — a traditional abbreviation of the Greek words for “Jesus Christ” a sacred name. It is sometimes rendered as “ICXC NIKA”, meaning “Jesus Christ Conquers.”)

Mary Magdalene and The Miracle of the Red Egg.

Mary Magdalene

Mary Magdalene

A biblical Christian testimony concerning Mary Magdalene says that she was a woman of social status and wealth. Following Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, she used her position to gain an invitation to a banquet given by Emperor Tiberius Caesar.

When she met him, she held a plain white egg in her hand and exclaimed “Christ is risen!” Caesar laughed, and said that Christ rising from the dead was as likely as the egg in her hand turning red.

Before he finished speaking, the egg in her hand indeed turned bright red, and she cried “Christ is risen, for Jesus has burst forth from the tomb”. And she continued proclaiming the Gospel to the entire imperial house. This miracle turned many of them to Christ at that time.

Today, many Eastern Orthodox Christians end the Easter service by sharing bright red eggs and proclaiming to each other, “Christ is risen!” The eggs represent new life, and Christ bursting forth from the tomb. This began the tradition of coloring Easter eggs.

You are so precious to Jesus

Boy Jesus

Boy Jesus

“Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light,” {Matthew 11 v 28:29}.

Dear Christian, has someone hurt you? Have they physically or verbally abused you? Fret not yourself, why let this persecution continue to damage you, you are so precious to Jesus, and he knows, he sees, he cares. Turn away from evil today; leave the matter with the lord.

Look to the Prince of Peace, keep your eyes and hearts and minds on him, and you will have perfect peace, a peace that passes all understanding. Let me leave you with some scriptures from God’s Holy Bible.

Dearly beloved avenge not yourselves. I will repay saith the Lord. Do all things without murmurings and disputing, that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation among whom ye shine as lights in the world. The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace.

Doesn’t that make you feel good? What a mighty God we serve. You see God would have you to forgive; it is not for us to judge. Let God be the Judge. God wants you to protect your peace.

Jesus did not sin, neither was there any bad language found in his mouth and when he was physically and verbally abused he did not retaliate, he committed the matter to God his Father, who judges righteously and we to should do the same and be more like Jesus. Scriptures;        {Romans 12 v 19}, {Philippians 2 v 14}, {Exodus 14 v14}, {1 Peter 2 v 22}.

The Lamb of God

Ark of the Covenant

Ark of the Covenant

(there was not one feeble or sick person among them).

“He brought them forth also with silver and gold, and there was not

one feeble person among their tribes,” {Psalm 105 v 37}.

Now can you imagine when God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, (there was not one feeble or sick person among them). We are not talking about a few dozen people, or even hundreds, there were thousands upon thousands of people, maybe more than a million, and every one of them was healthy and well. How could this be?

Well, do you remember before they left Egypt they were told to take a lamb for each family. The lamb had to be without blemish, a perfect lamb, which they had to kill, roast and eat, and as they ate this lamb they were strengthened and healed for their journey. They had to obey God’s word and do exactly as He told them.

This lamb had to be perfect, without spot or blemish. The lamb was an old testament type of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our perfect, spotless, Lamb of God.

Jesus who died in our place, for all our sins, so that we could be saved, healed and delivered, and made fit for heaven. And so it is today, as we come to the Lord’s table, we must come in reverence before the Lord, remembering all that Jesus has done for us. He died in pain and agony for us, so that we could be washed from our sins and go to heaven.

In 1 Corinthians 11 v 29-30, it says, “For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.”

This is a very strong scripture, but, very true, it speaks for itself and must not be ignored.

When we come to take the bread and the wine, we must come with a repentant heart, asking the Lord to cleanse us anew, and heal our bodies.

Just as the children of Israel were healed and strengthened as they ate the pascal lamb, so we to can be healed and strengthened as we come to Jesus and partake of the bread and the wine, remembering all that He has done for us and thanking Him with a heart overflowing with love and gratitude. Our Jesus is truly wonderful, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, our all sufficient redeemer.     (DB).

Jesus is the joy of living, He is the king of life to me; Unto Him my all I’m giving, His forever more to be. I will do what He commands me, anywhere He leads I’ll go; Jesus is the joy of living,                  He’s the dearest friend I know.

God’s Will

That we might be saved

That we might be saved

It was a time during those seven years of affliction, which plagued my life. )

Matthew 26:39, “Oh my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”

I will never forget the time of learning how I had to surrender my will to God. It was a time during those seven years of affliction, which plagued my life. It was a truly horrific time for my family and I.

I received many iron infusions, at Poole hospital, walking down those long corridors was near impossible for me to do because of my lack of breath. I really hated doing this, they would hook me up for a transfusion, the needle would cause severe bruising as it entered my veins. Many times leaning against the corridor walls, pale as a ghost, saying, Lord, why do I have to do this, why don’t you give me more iron in my blood?”

Then one time I prayed “Well Lord, if you want me to do this, if this is your will for me to have these infusions, then I surrender to you.” That was the very last time that I needed any more iron in my blood, and my breath returned to me, and I never needed to return again for any more infusions, the Lord completely healed me, after saying “I surrender to you Lord.”All to Jesus I surrender all to Jesus I freely give.

Now Christ had to surrender His will to His Father completely, so that if we will surrender our lives to Him, and totally trust Him for all that He has accomplished on that cross, then healings and blessings will abound for us. For whatever comes our way we will have the victory, because Christ has the victory over all the powers of darkness.

Dear Christians, today you may say, “Why have I got to go through this trial,” as you cry unto the Lord. Well, I can say from experience that Jesus will be with you, and bring you out of that fiery furnace, just like He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and brought them out.

You may be in a place where you just do not want to be, just like I was, now this will be a time for you to surrender your will to Christ, and say, “ Lord if it’s your will for me to go through this fiery furnace, then your will be done.” You can be assured of this that Jesus will bring you out just like He did for countless others who have put their trust in Him.

Sometimes through testing times I go, dark seems the way, and full of woe; but in the furnace though I be, my great Physician healeth me, Lord, I would spread this truth abroad, the mighty power of thy word; It’s just the same, the blind now see, and demons at thy presence flee, for sin and sickness doth depart, when thou doth reign within my heart; and I from all the curse am free, since Christ, my Saviour healeth me.

Behold I Show You A Mystery

Heavens angels

Behold I Show You A Mystery

What will we look like when we go to heaven? What kind of bodies will we have? These are the questions that Christians are asking in these last days. Once during a time of severe illness, God gave me a very special dream vision of my glorified body.

I was taken to a garden in heaven, where the Lord showed me my glorified body; I was about twenty two years of age, very radiant in appearance, like an angel of God. I did not look like myself, but I knew that it was me.

I had a crown of reeds upon my head and I was sleeping in perfect peace, I noticed that the crown of reeds seemed to be too big for my head, for it slipped down past my forehead, and was just touching the top of my eyes.

I wondered what this dream vision meant, for at the time I was very sick and I thought that I was going to die, but the Lord’s gracious hand was upon me. He revealed to me the interpretation of this dream.

The reed which was falling down past my forehead represented eternity, and my body was not yet big enough or completely ready for me, for it still needed more time to grow and become perfected.

And so when the time comes, and the crown of reeds will fit perfectly, then and only then will I leave this old earth for God’s glorious heaven. Soon after this my health began to improve. This blessing from the Lord was one of many blessings which I received from His throne room.

When I close my eyes in this life, I shall awake in this body, for it is written in 1Corinthians chapter 15 v 44, 49, 51 & 52.

“There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body. —And as we have borne the image of the earthly, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly— Behold I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed.”

So dear Christian isn’t it wonderful to know that you and I have been promised by the Lord Jesus, a strong and perfect body.

Changed in the twinkling of an eye, The trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised, Changed in the twinkling of an eye. Oh, the seed that was sown in weakness,

Shall then be raised in power,

And the songs of the Blood bought millions, Shall hail that blissful hour;

When we gather safely home in the morning, And nights dark shadows fly,

What a shouting on the shore. When we meet to part no more,

Changed in the twinkling of an eye

Crusaders Knights Shield

Crusaders Knights Shield

Crusaders Knights Shield

The wall painting which is visible above the level of the Church roof timbers depicts a circular painting known locally as the Crusaders shield.

It shows a pyramid surrounded by sun burst of rays, and within is written in Hebrew, the name translate as YHWH, and translated into English as “Jehovah.

It is believed to have been painted by the Knights of Saint John, who worshipped at this church at the time of the Crusades.

The Knights  of  Saint John church can be found in the county of Dorset England.

This circular painting of a Crusaders shield was discovered in the 19th century by

candlelight, by a man when he crawled into the roof to examine roof timbers. It became completely revealed when the ceiling was removed in 1927 during a complete renovation. If it wasn’t concealed in those early days it would have surely been destroyed by the Puritans.
