As the Knights of the Round Table make merry amid talk of high adventure, a hush falls as an elderly spiritual figure, not of this world, enters the hall to lead the young Galahad to the Seat Perilous.
This seat was veiled, destined only for the knight who by character and his heart filled with love of the One whose blood filled the Cup, and assured of his destiny, fearlessly seats himself on the Seat Perilous as an angel unveils it.
Galahad receives his sword. Outside the castle wall was a wondrous red rock floating on the water, and although the current ran strongly the stone kept its appointed place. Into it was thrust a jeweled sword, which many a knight had attempted to remove, but none had succeeded. As King Arthur’s Court watches from the water’s edge, Galahad gives further proof of his destiny by easily removing the sword and placing it in his empty scabbard.

Galahad is surrounded by thankful citizens. Throughout the quest the Grail keeps appearing, seen only by the faithful few. Here Galahad sees the Grail and is led to the sea as the Ship of Faith approaches.
Galahad, Bors and Percival have been led to the Ship of Faith. Soon they are aware that the Holy Grail is with them, once again unveiled and resting upon a silver table.
Sailing to the Isle of Sarras, the three knights heal an aged cripple at the city gates, who then helps carry the silver table of the Grail. King Estouranse hears of this and imprisons the knights in a deep hole, where they are miraculously saved from starvation by food provided by the Holy Grail.
The dying king asks Galahad’s forgiveness and converts to Christianity.
Galahad is crowned King of Sarras.
Galahad prays before the Holy Grail at the moment when Jesus and a company of angels appear before him in a vision. He says, “Come forth thou servant of the Lord, I would no longer live if it might please thee,” and his soul ascends to its reward in Heaven.
